pink skinnies
I have a new love . . . pink skinnies I scored at Gap. They're super comfortable and it's a nice pop of color. I was browsing around the store the other day and saw these. Typically I would have just walked past them. I don't wear much color {although I'm really working on that} and because I have never been a huge fan of pink. But let me tell you, I tried them on and there was no looking back. I feel in love! They're fun, adventurous, and now a staple in my summer wardrobe. Yesterday I paired them with a look chambray top and sandals. Adding a little color to my wardrobe was quite refreshing. I also think they added a little pep in my step!

senior pictures
I can't believe four years have passed {some eigth years}! I am so very blessed and thankful to have had such strong friendships over my college years. Although we're all going our separate ways {NYC, grad school at UA/UT, Nashville, Germany, marriage, etc . . . } I know these friendships will continue forever and ever. I can't wait to see what God has in store for all of us! Thanks Schmitty for taking these, we'll treasure them forever!
*We're missing a few girls . . . that's just an excuse for a get together very soon!
and another one's engaged!
My best friend Kelsey is ENGAGED! She's the second of our friends to get a ring on it and I am so excited for her and Chad! Let the planning begin!

sweet summer time
It's officially summer for me! Four years of college are behind me . . . just classes for a month and a half and an internship in New York City with Karen Kane stand in the way between me and a diploma in my hand! Not that I want to speed up the next seven months, but let's be honest, I can't wait to see what God has in store in the next chapter in my life! This summer I have hopes for lots of fun, sun-kissed skin, and lots of laughter and time with family and friends. I've composed a {an in progress}} list of things I want to do/am doing over the next three months.
- Family vacation in St. Thomas
- Bar crawl in Birmingham
- Museum of Art in Birmingham
- Road trip to Nashville/Dallas
- Braves game
- Summer romance
- Drink more water
- Engagment party for Jessica
- 4th of July cookout
- Stay up for 24 hours
- Start a fitness routine
- Shop at a farmer's market
- Read more books {any suggestions, last summer I read every Nicholas Sparks novel}
- Float down a river

loft party
Thursday night my roommates and I hosted a graduation party for our friends that became Alabama alumni over the weekend. It was a blast and certainly bittersweet! I can't wait to see how God uses each and every one of them in this next chapter of their lives! It has been truly a blessing to know each of them for the past 4+ years and how they have molded me into the lady I am today! I love each and every one of you and you better stay in touch and come back to visit in the fall!
