Monday Muse
I know it's Monday, but man do I feel refreshed! I had a great weekend celebrating my dad and catching up on my reading and laughing my head off with cousins via FaceTime - it was good for the soul. Sometimes pictures are not only worth a thousand words, but a thousand inspirations. These are a few pins I've gotten a weeks worth of ideas that range from travelling to the city of love to fresh ingredients that rock your eyes and your stomachs to killer style taken from a toddler. Hope y'all are ready for a productive week because it's go time! Happy Monday friends!

summer flats
ASOS LINK Pointed Ballet Flat // Zara Basic Thong Sandal // Madison Harding Arty Flat Sandal {on sale!} // Loeffler Randall Luella Sandal // Superga Woven Cotu Sneaker // Topshop FLASH 2 Sandal // Soludos Classic Stripe // Rachel Zoe Gladys Sandal
I love a good summer flat. In fact, I'd wear a sandal everyday of the year if I could. Espadrilles, thong sandals, sneakers, fancy flats. You name it, I love it. Now don't get me wrong, I love a pretty high heel {more on my favorites next week}. They're fun to pair with shorts and a button down or sneakers and a dress. Either way, you'll look ultra chic and your feet will thank you at the end of the day. One thing I found when both visiting and living in the city, you have to have some pretty darn good walking shoes. I learned my lesson after a day walking around lower Manhattan and coming home with broken skin and welts on my heels. The best part of all these fun flats . . . they come in all different colors and patterns!
Father's Day Gift Guide
Can you believe it's almost Father's Day? Nope, me neither. Ha! Well, I never fret over this holiday since my dad makes it clear that he doesn't need another shirt, tie, mug or any other traditional gift you give your dad each year. You know what he wants for every birthday, Christmas, or gift-giving holiday? Either iTunes or Starbucks gift cards. Boring right? But that's what he loves and actually uses. Easy enough for me, but sometimes I wish he would like one of these unique gifts . . .

The Weekend
Wooohooo weekend! It's going to be hot and rainy so I plan on staying inside and catching up on my reading and playing around with my hair and make-up for a refreshing summer revamp. I've been looking back on my Pinterest boards for pin-spiration - that's a knee slapper - I'm in dire need of new hair and make-up looks! I also plan to finish the movie Last Night since I only caught about half. I'm going to get cozy on the sofa and finish it with some salty popcorn. If you're in the reading mood, here are some fun links from around the web! Hope you all have a relaxing weekend!

Eyefly
Eyefly just launched a new collection of eyeglasses and sunglasses this week - I'm obsessed! Did I mention their all under $94.00 with a prescription? Score! And it gets better . . . they've just started a program where for every pair bought, one pair will be given to charity. Right now they're donating to Brein Holden Vision Institute. With the newly introduced polarized sunglasses, I'd love to wear the Park Place tortoise all summer long!
Be sure to check out Eyefly's other amazing styles here.

Moroccan Design Crush
I died and went to Moroccan heaven. Lonny Magazine did a piece covering writer Maryam Montague's olive grove gorgeousness. The whole house is stunning with the most special and delicate details. Over-sized chairs, multiple fireplaces, intricate lighting, and that sitting room with the dramatic drapes! Ah, I am so in lurve!

Weekend Roundup
Does anyone know where this year is going?! Seriously, how in the world is it already JUNE?!?! But, I had an exceptional weekend thanks to spending time with family and sending off a sweet friend before she moves to Seattle, aaahhh!
I can't tell you the last time my brother and I spent the whole day together. Most of the time he says I'm embarrassing, oh the life of a teenager. But, I managed to convince him to do so over the weekend and we had a blast! Brunch, popsicles, exploring around town, and a baseball game. And we even managed to spend some time with sweet cousins, score!
And since I am notoriously not good with taking pictures, I didn't take any on a trip when some friends and I met to go to Tuscaloosa Sunday afternoon. We had a dinner planned for our sweet friend Erin who is moving to Seattle this weekend, but got to title town a little early to reminisce in our college days. It's hard to believe how much a place changes in just a year, especially with all the new places going up after the tornado in 2011. It felt odd to go back to a place with so many fun memories and it looking completely different. It was nice to get out walk the streets again, but I can't imagine still living there.
You college grads, how do you feel about going back to your college towns? Do you feel really old and out of place?
